What does "custom coded" mean?
Your site is written by hand — semantic HTML, modern CSS, and lightweight JavaScript — instead of being assembled inside a page builder on top of a theme and a stack of plugins. Fewer layers means fewer things to load, maintain, and troubleshoot.
Do you use WordPress?
No. We build lean static sites rather than WordPress installs. WordPress is a capable platform, but for most small-business sites a custom static build is faster and lower-maintenance — and there's no CMS or plugin stack for you to manage.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. A redesign is one of the most common projects we take on — keeping what works about your current site and rebuilding the rest on a cleaner, faster foundation.
Will I be able to request changes?
Yes. Content updates and changes are part of the Website Care service, and you work directly with the person who built your site.
Do you handle hosting?
Yes. Managed hosting can be included so you don't have to choose a host, configure it, or worry about keeping it running.
Do you build ecommerce sites?
We focus on marketing and service websites for small businesses. For light ecommerce or booking needs we can integrate the right tools; for a large storefront we'll tell you honestly if another approach fits better.
How long does a website take?
Most small-business sites take a few weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope, page count, and how quickly content and feedback come together.
Do you work with businesses outside North Carolina or Tennessee?
Yes. We're based in the Southeast and work with businesses wherever they are — the whole process works well remotely.
Do you provide SEO?
We build strong technical SEO foundations into every site — clean structure, fast pages, proper metadata, and sensible content organization that helps search engines understand your business.
Can Raven Ridge Media provide photography or video for my website?
Yes. Original photography, video, and drone imagery are available through our sister company, Raven Ridge Media, when a project calls for them.
